about  us

We are Instituto FAR, whose name honors the founders of the Hinode Group, Francisco and Adelaide Rodrigues. We were born in 2015 and our work integrates the mission of transforming lives, through programs and projects that seek to promote humanitarian aid and education among children and young people.

Manifest

Our motives are to help and to transform. We seek to meet the basic needs of vulnerable populations (helping) and leave a legacy among children and young people through knowledge and entrepreneurial education (transforming). This is how we will change the world, through people.

Our promise is to work so that realities are transformed and that people can be the protagonists of their own stories.

Vision

Our work will be on every continent. It will be so great that it will impact the lives of those it touches in an integral, profound and transformative way. Seeking to respond to social challenges, we will be the inspiration in actions for the production of knowledge, promotion of entrepreneurial attitude and personal development.

Our symbol

The hummingbird is our symbol and carries the essence of what we believe: each individual, within their possibilities, can do something to transform the world.

The fable of the hummingbird recounts that during a great forest fire, the hummingbird carried drops of water in its beak to help put it out. While other animals believed it to be insignificant, the hummingbird was sure it was doing its part!
